Come and experience the Karen Flamenco Dance Company dancers as they perform excerpts from their latest production “Pinocchio” - the quirky story about a puppet who longs to be real.
Pinocchio will take audience members through a journey to Stromboli’s puppet show, the pleasure island and the inside of a whale, all while accompanied by her conscience Jiminy Cricket. Castanet clicks of rain, a storm of bata de cola’s and doves flurrying by with fans will all part-take in Pinocchio’s travel’s to discover how to be brave, truthful and unselfish. Don’t miss out on this modern and traditional take on a fun loving tale.
Flamenco guitarist Gerardo Alcala will be accompanying the dancers along with the voice of Jafelin Heltin.
Gerardo Avila our favourite actor/magician will be narrating the story as “Jiminy Cricket”, and Karen Pitkethly will be playing the role of "Geppetto”.
The Company will be presenting brand new works by Karen Pitkethly and guest choreographers "Joe Tuliao” and “Fanny Ara”.
